Our Worship Services
We understand that you might be curious about what to expect during Sunday mornings at New Hope Church. While we recently moved to two services, those services are identical in nature. You'll hear and get to participate in music that's both meaningful and relevant. Each week a worship band will lead you into an awareness of God's presence. And you'll hear teaching that's unapologetically biblical but relevant to our lives. Each week features a message that addresses our spiritual needs, seeking to make God's Word alive, fresh, and applicable to life. Topics covered in sermons include Suffering, Character, and Answering the tough questions of Christianity.
Know, too, that we have age appropriate classes for kids and teenagers. Qualified, caring teachers lead Bible studies that are intended to help kids understand more about the Bible and God's character and love.
We join together in a time of refreshments every Sunday morning. With our busy work weeks it's sometimes difficult to connect with the larger family at New Hope. So you'll have a chance to grab a cup of coffee and a snack. And you'll have some time to relax and enjoy a chance to get to know others at New Hope.
We celebrate the Lord's Supper together on a regular basis. At New Hope we practice "open table" communion, meaning that as long as you believe in Jesus Christ, have accepted His invitation into your heart and life, and don't carry grudges or unforgiveness between you and someone else (1 Corinthians Chapter 11) then you are welcome to take communion. It is open to all, not just members of New Hope Church.
Equally as regular is the baptism of believers as a part of our regular worship service. The frequency of baptism depends on the people of New Hope. As individuals sense the need to be baptized we will baptize them as a part of our Sunday Worship Celebration.
